Job Description:
The Associate Analyst (ARA) supports marketing initiatives of Networked Insights clients (external and internal) by performing research that leads to compelling insights into consumer affinities as they relate to brands, products, services, and industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
.Uses proprietary NI technology to analyze data from social media and other sources
.Contributes research that answers specific questions for our clients about their brands, products, competitors, or their marketing campaigns
.Contributes ideas to innovate new tools, features, or entire products
.Surfaces insights discovered during analysis to project teams
.Provides QA of own analyses
.Participates in internal project team meetings and calls
.Diligently accounts for time and adheres to other CS/NI administrative duties

Qualifications:
.Working knowledge of standard office productivity software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
.Knowledge of Internet and electronic database searching tools and procedures
.Ability to quickly learn and effectively use new technology
.Familiarity with social media, including forums, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
.Written and verbal communication skills that translate into effective report preparation
.Bachelor's degree Experience working in Marketing and Communications, Advertising, Marketing Research, Statistics, Sociology, or Economics or equivalent experience
.0-1 years of experience performing primary research for a corporation, marketing agency, or research firm
