Job Description:
Hadapt is building a next generation database that runs on top of the Hadoop platform, designed to analyze structured and unstructured data at massive scale. The product allows customers to derive deeper insights from their data, and offers improved performance and ease of use.
The Director of Product Marketing will work closely with our senior management to develop and execute product marketing strategies for our Adaptive Analytical Platform. The role requires a leader with proven experience forming a talented and collaborative marketing and business development team. That team will eventually assist in the Director's task of fostering the growing demand around our product in the rapidly expanding Big Data marketplace.
Required Skills/Experience:
.6-10 years of experience in enterprise product marketing
.Excellent written and verbal communication skills
.Excellent ability to present and communicate clearly to technical and business audiences
.Experience with enterprise sales
.Experience with developing B2B marketing strategies
.Strong analytical skills
.Ability to quickly and seamlessly implement new strategies based on market trends and analysis
.Able to thrive in an evolving, entrepreneurial structure and environment
.Ability to work at both a tactical and strategic level
.Must possess a can-do, self-starter mentality in a highly collaborative atmosphere
Desired Experience:
.Experience in, and base technical understanding of, data analytics software, business intelligence software, database/data warehousing platforms strongly preferred
.Experience in Big Data space
.Experience in corporate marketing (brand development & PR)
